De serie vervreemding is ontstaan uit een gevoel, een toestand die zich langzaam heeft ontwikkeld. Zo traag dat het haast onmerkbaar is; ze schuift langzaam binnen. Een gevoel dat niet direct te plaatsen is en toch is ze plots daar. De wereld is veranderd in een ruimte waarin het zelf niet meer wordt teruggevonden. 

De serie is een resonantie van dit gevoel; momenten waarop de wereld net niet meer klopt. Figuren zijn aanwezig en afwezig tegelijkertijd. Het wil uitnodigen om stil te staan, te kijken, te mogen twijfelen en te voelen van datgene wat niet meer vertrouwd is. Er is geen antwoord, maar er is ruimte om te kijken, te luisteren en te denken over dat wat veranderd is.

The series of alienation has emerged from a feeling, a state that has developed slowly. So slowly that it is almost imperceptible; it slides in gradually. A feeling that cannot be immediately placed and yet it suddenly is there. The world has transformed into a space in which the self is no longer found.  

The series is a resonance of this feeling; moments when the world no longer quite fits. Figures are present and absent at the same time. It wishes to invite one to pause, to look, to allow doubt and to feel that which is no longer familiar. There is no answer, but there is space to look, to listen, and to think about that which has changed.
